Who am I?

Sophie Nolf, professional lacemaker in Bigouden country , creator of the brand Le fil en Héritage.

Introduced to crochet by my grandmother, I have been practicing Irish guipure and picot bigouden for over 25 years.

To finally acquire the ability to create original pieces, in strict compliance with traditional technique.

Technology at the service of a universe

This uncompromising technique is an alphabet. I explore its infinite possibilities, both in its most traditional version and in the service of contemporary, offbeat creations bursting with color.

Imagination is in charge. I draw my inspiration from the lacemaking tradition, but also from everyday objects and multiple craft and artistic disciplines, which I love to combine to bring to life the lace I love so much.
